Please reach us at hilinetumbling@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We run a consistently structure class, starting with stretching, conditioning, skill introduction, lots of drills, and a cool down. Instructors have at least 3 years coaching experience. We believe that confidence is built through positive coaching, consistent encouragement, and celebrating every achievement—big or small.
Athletic clothes, water bottle, and a positive attitude! NO shoes in tumbling!
No. It is not required, but it is suggested. The leotards form fitting style prevents shirt from falling on face and from their belly showing. Most girls don't like the swim suit style, you can also choose to wear shorts over it.
Ages 3-4 YES! The class is only 30 minutes. If they need to go to the bathroom a parent MUST be present to take them.
Ages 5+ NO. As long as you and your child are comfortable with it. However, they must be able to go to the bathroom on their own.
However, parents are encouraged to stay and watch. Your child LOVES your support!
We start with age group. We want your child to feel comfortable with he/her peers. After we find the right age group, next we look at skill level. We want your child to learn and grow. If there isn't an appropriate age group that fits your child's skill level, we bump him/her up the next age group. Getting your Child into the right class could take some time.
Let your coach know if your child is asking for a different class. Due to small class size, we can't guarantee moving classes.
Your coach will reach out to you and offer moving to more advanced classes (It is not required). Your child most likely, is learning at a faster rate than the rest of the kids in class.
Sign ups will start August 5th. Check back then for more instructions.
That is totally okay! Many of our athletes are beginners. Our coaches create a welcoming, encouraging environment that helps children build confidence while learning new skills. Most new tumblers are shy and some even struggle to participate at first. This is totally okay! It may take a couple classes for them to be comfortable to engage. We won't force your child to do things he/she isn't comfortable with.
Recital is first weekend of May.
Every year, the kids get the chance to be part of an end of the season performance. They get to show off their skills to friends and family.
Season 2025-26 is pictured.
